• Bookkeeping View

  One of the most important services we offer charities is to view your books. Our bookkeeping services involve recording, organising and reconciling all financial transactions such as sales, receipts, purchases and payments — and we can offer advice on how you keep your books. We ensure accurate financial records for your charity and prepare financial statements and reports for you when necessary.

  Price: £60.00 per hour

• Independent Examination Signing-off Report

  This is a formal statement by an independent examiner (us) confirming whether your charity’s accounts are supported by proper records and comply with legal requirements. This process provides your trustees and the public with assurance that your accounts have undergone external scrutiny. We will review your accounts and records before issuing a formal report for trustees and filing it with the Charity Commission.

  Price: £100.00 per item

• Standard Letter

  We prepare and provide charities with references, confirmations of income or other correspondence that falls outside of the scope of our previously agreed services. All formal written documents, in short.

  Price: £70.00 per item

• Software Training

  We most certainly train charities on bookkeeping and accounting software! Sure, we would like your charity to use our services but we are also firm believers in the idea that training organisations to record and calculate their own accounts is important. We are extremely experienced in multiple platforms — get hold of us now to discover more.

  Price: £60.00 per hour

• Professional Verification

  Blue Stone acts as an authorised intermediary to confirm your trustees’ roles and identities in your charity, ensuring complete compliance with legal requirements. Our team collects and verifies official documents and makes sure your information is accurate. We charge £5 extra for each item that we verify.

  Price: £25.00 per item

• VAT 1 Application (new application)

  Preparing and submitting the necessary documentation to register a charity for VAT can be a complex process. Our service ensures all required information like your organisation’s details and turnover estimates are accurately provided so that you can get a VAT registration number and comply with UK VAT regulations.

  Price: £60.00 per item

• VAT Closure including fee

  In the case of a charity, we understand that deregistering that organisation from the VAT register can be complex and emotional. However, Blue Stone acts with sensitivity and efficiency to prepare and submit your deregistration application. We also advise on final VAT returns and ensure complete compliance with legal requirements.

  Price: £40.00 per item

• Duplicate of Official Documentation

  You may need important documents duplicated, like financial statements, tax returns and official correspondence. We offer a flat fee per document, providing your charity with a physical or digital copy upon request.

  Price: £5.75 per item

• Administration Fee Applicable to all Invoices

  Handling administrative tasks is an important part of the accounting process. as such, a standard admin charge is added to every invoice that’s issued to our charity clients. This covers the costs of tasks like invoicing, record-keeping and correspondence. We charge 5% of the total invoice fee and disclose this rate transparently, except in the case of purchase of software that meets with the MTD compliance directly from us.

  Price: 5% percent surcharge
